Inland Lakes/Saginaw River Program: Located in Cadillac, MI., C.A.R.M.A. Sport Fishing Services has access to local area Inland Lakes that have been named the number 3 location in the Fishing Booker top 7 winter-time fishing destinations in the United States. The angling opportunities provided while fishing on Lake Mitchell, Lake Cadillac, Missaukee Lake, or Houghton Lake during the late spring through early/late fall can result in a wide array of fish catching opportunities. Like fishing on the Bay, our inland lakes offer us Walleye, Northern Pike, Large and Small Mouth Bass fishing along with other species of Perch, Crappie and in some cases Master Angler category Bullhead and Bowfin. Inland Lake fishing trips are usually done by sport trolling and or jigging with spinning tackle. C.A.R.M.A. provides all the tackle and bait on your 5 hour angling adventure for up to 2 passengers for $250.00 (50.00 for an additional person up to 4 persons max).
This same pricing option applies to a very short window of fishing opportunity for Saginaw River Walleye fishing. As the weather turns from summer to fall and the winds typically blow us off the bay, we transition back to the Saginaw River in search of World Class Trophy category Walleye on their way back up the river for the winter months. And again, as soon as the ice is out of the river we are able to target those fish as they move from the spawning grounds back out to the bay. These 5 hour trips are available late October and into November/December until the ice forms and again as soon as the ice melts through March 15th. C.A.R.M.A. provides all the jigging tackle and bait needed for some monster Walleye action for those who are willing to dress warm enough to battle the cold and sometimes wet and windy elements that mother nature sends our way during these times of the year. The price is $250.00 for 2 people (50.00 for an additional person up to 4 persons max).
